I caught this ( estimated ) 475 pound Dusky Shark off the Kona coast in December 2003. It was about 400' deep when the fight started and lasted for about 45 minutes.

South Point, Hawaii ( the southernmost place in the USA ).That's a long way down. 

With Leland Chapman outside "U Make The Roll" in Kona. Leland is the son of Duane "Dog The Bounty Hunter" Chapman. The show is a hit on A&E cable channel and often filmed right here on the Big Island.
